  I had my eyes tested for reading glasses recently but discovered when i got them that i couldnt read any further than approx 12inches in distance now i know i said i needed reading glass but really what i needed was for reading Emails, prices on supermarket shelves etc not just books! so i made an appointment and was seen again by a very impatient optician who told me four times It "was my age" that i couldnt see beyond 12inches and the prescription was right for reading books only, he also stated i should use my old presciption (from another opticians) to see the PC and my new prescription for reading a book!. I wondered why i couldnt get a pair of glasses like my old ones that i can read and see the PC at the same time? his answer was they will do this in one year maybe two years!! but i said i want them now! his answer was ok ill give you intermediate glasses but they wont last you one year!". i felt i was beating my head off the wall trying to make him understand my needs after all they are my eyes! so i just had to walk away. iv told my friends who need their eyes tested and they have decided to avoid this outlet and go somewhere that you get listened to and provided with the right glasses for your needs as i will have to do, get the right glasses for myself elsewhere. I will be writing to the ombudsman regarding this service at this outlet as when i signed up with them they also managed to get my address wrong, when i pointed this out to the admin lady she asked me if "i had moved house recently"!! ahh no, "you got my address wrong" so One star Im afraid from me for the comfy chair while waiting.
